i think that peacock bamboo table makes my heart skip a beat every time i see it!
love it all, but that storage wall…oh. my. gosh. swoon!
What can i say… you’re so talented!
The bamboo chest is my favorite but the bookcases are a close second! They are all wonderful!
You are one amazingly talented and motivated girl! Love all the projects, and so hard to choose a favourite.
Wow! I see so many things I would love to try at my home but wouldn’t dare. Have you taken courses in restoration?
Lisa
No courses Lisa, just a lot of research online and a lot of trial and error!
Kate
You can come do my pitiful closet ANY TIME. My house was built in 1962 so I have this tiny, tiny, TINY closet that really needs updating… I’d love to think I’ll put in the time to make it as pretty as yours!
AMAZING!!! That is about all there is to say :-)
I had forgotten about your awesome closet makeover! All of these are really so great… you are one talented chica! :)
Your cabana still makes me swoon…and I’ve loving that peacock blue chest. You are one talented lady!
Love them all…but your cabana and stone patio make me want to set up house in your backyard ;)
Crazy good projects. I did the same kind of post too. Makes you scratch your head and wonder how we accomplished so much and how we can top that in 2012. But I bet we will have fun trying.
Great projects! I’m so inspired to get more done in 2012!
I am SO obsessed with the chair makeovers! So incredible!
xx Lexi
Love all the great transformations. I am working on a space that I can use to work on furniture. I can’t wait to start some redo’s of my own. You are such an inspiration, Hugs, Jean
Kate, Can’t believe how much you accomplished in one year. You’re a one woman DIYer.
When you get a moment, would you provide the link for the wall repair? The link doesn’t seem to be working. Your fix for the hole is great. Can’t tell there’s ever been a hole there.
Thanks!
Absolutely wonderfully inspirational!! I don’t know how you do it! Wow.
Your projects are amazing!
Debbie
Where did you get the fabric for the mudroom bench??? I love it!
Thanks for the kitchen cabinet process and past product review!
These are all so beautiful, but the closet transformation & the outdoor patio are just breathtaking!! You’ve had a very successful year!! :)
You did some amazing transformations! How do you do it all??? Hugs
Girl you’ve been busy! I can’t even pick a fave! Ok so maybe your “mini” kitchen makeover which in all actuality is not so mini but actually such an incredible change! : ) Great job with everything! Looking forward to 2012!
Wow, how motivating to get projects done. I love the closet makeover as well as the stone patio. I have a spot in my backyard I have been wanting to be stone for years. The cost of hiring a professional and ordering the large stone has just left it on hold I think i will have to try this this summer. It looks great! I had not looked at Home depot for stone. Can’t wait to see what you do in 2012.
All are awesome, but the blue jeans made me think I might be able to update some of my husband’s jean. I have big plans this year for home projects and now I’m truly inspired.
Lovely!!
I truly feel in LOVE with your closet makeover! I will be using it as a refernece for my closet in my new home we plan to build in 4 years. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!
You’re always such a great source of inspiration – and to see a year’s worth at once kinda blows my mind :) Seriously, love the last {sexiest} before and after – those practical ones are the kind that come in handy.
Love ya!

Kate, I’ve spent at least 2 wonderful hours looking at all these projects and have bookmarked some to use as inspiration. I do so appreciate your talent and good taste. Thanks, Rita
Busy Busy Kate..I can’t wait to see what you will be up to in the coming year, Thanks for all that you share with us!!
You are just so talented!! I have loved following your blog, and loved this post as a reminder of all the amazing things you have pulled off this year – and looking forward to everything you will show us in the new year!
Leanne @ Because (I think) I Can
I don’t know if it’s just me but I can’t pull up the sexiest makeover.
These are all amazing (even the sexiest one…I wouldn’t be able to pull even that off!)…great work!
I can’t click on the sexiest makeover link, either, but I’m REALLY interested in seeing how you did it! We have tons of patching to do in our 1920’s house and could use a primer!
Hey Mary and Jen, so sorry, link fixed you can see it now, or click here!

I didn’t think it was possible but I think this year has even been more productive and wonderful than last year.
My favorite by far, your closet makeover. Fit for a princess, or a style queen…. Fit for you!
Wishing you a wonderful and creative 2012.
Your closet makeover and patio transformation are my favorites – both dramatic and useful!
Wow! You are my hero!
I love that chair!
I believe it is time to learn upholstery work!
Everything you do is amazing! I can’t wait to see what you come up with in 2012!
Holy Moly! That’s an impressive list. LOVE LOVE LOVE the bamboo chest– you’ve totally inspired me!

This is by FAR my favorite recap of 2011 I’ve seen today (and since I follow about 200 blogs… well, that’s saying a LOT!) LOVE it!
