Hello friends! Yesterday we made progress on the kitchen renovation for my local non-profit, I’m excited to share that transformation with you soon! Tomorrow I’m off to Vegas for a few days to visit with family and do some work on the flip house. I finally have a kitchen cabinet plan and hopefully I’ll have photos of the hall bathroom renovation to share with you when I return.

Love this colorful Tudor tour.
This kitchen was a (gasp!) budget makeover.
It’s all in the details, like the molding on this bathroom vanity.
Winner: most gorgeous barn ever!
How cool are these 3D printed vases?
So much prettiness: a beautiful Indian wedding.
This bow updo makes a sweet statement.

Marcus Design’s kitchen is really great. I think Remodelando La Casa nailed that look 5 years ago with an almost identical reno- cabs to the ceiling, double stacked trim and homemade “custom” range hood. Same tile style, too. http://www.remodelandolacasa.com/2012/01/kitchen-remodeling.html
Eek!!! Thank you thank you x100 for including my budget kitchen reno in your round up Kate! I’m a huge fan and couldn’t be more honored xoxo
You’re so welcome Nancy, amazing work!
Hi Kate, I am looking forward to hearing about your bathroom project. Our home is almost 10 years old and the renovation projects are almost due now. I would still stick with the cream colors but am shopping around for ideas on what would work on the children’s bathroom. I am looking forward to reading some of your ideas and appreciate those links especially the one with the kitchen makeover. Looked simply gorgeous!
Thank you Cindy, feel free to email me if you need a few suggestions!
Ahh these things all look so cool! I loove the little bow updo!

Thanks for “intro” to Laura Lee Home–I went through her portfolio–twice!
I always enjoy your Weekend Reading posts – thanks!
After clicking through the “budget” kitchen reno link, I was a little surprised to see the major work done. Sure, they didn’t replace the kitchen cabinets or gut the space, but raising floors and (what sure looked like) moving exterior walls would seem like it might knock it out of the “budget” category.
Enjoyed seeing the end result – beautiful and inspiring work, Nancy.
The link to the strength training article didn’t work…always love more info on that subject.
I am in love with that barn.
