Hellllooo friends and happy weekend to you! I’ve got a busy one ahead with a birthday party to attend and I’m also taking on another design project for our local Committee on the Shelterless, this time it’s an eleven room emergency shelter, and this is a BIG project with a late June date for the Open House so I’ll be occupied with that behind the scenes. (Read about the past projects for this non-profit here.)
There is so much to do but right now the focus is flooring and paint, then we move to bringing in furnishings so I’ll be rounding up some brand sponsors to help and I’ll have at least one community space to share this summer. Meanwhile, it’s another round of Best of the Blogosphere where Amanda and I team up to feature our favorite projects spied around the web, enjoy!

I saw that episode of Fixer Upper. I love thier work.
Lots of great projects to check out this week! I love Chip and Joanna. My husband is hooked on their show as well. I applaud you Kate on taking on another wonderful project, an emergency shelter. You are very compassionate and generous. Will you need any volunteer help for this? Please let me know. If I can be of any help I would love to.
Thanks! Really liking the water colored textiles. Beautiful and so nice to customize bits and pieces.

Love the fixer upper and Chip and Joanna but that house was my least favorite. Maybe because it was so impracticable although the staircase looked beautiful I can’t imagine running up a flight of stairs to get to the kitchen all the time.
Love the headboard and rug in the first picture. The wallpaper in that bathroom and the door are astounding. So much love!
These are amazing! The walk-in closet is so freaking cute, if only I was still a kid, haha. Loving the sophisticated bedroom makeover too.

Oh gosh, those dyed fabrics are to die for. Sorry, couldn’t resist. Whoops, did it again. Honestly though, they’re beautiful. I remember your post on the same subject, Kate.
I may commenting on the wrong page Kaley, but I have followed you for years. From Africa!!! Namibia
Its so inspiring and you are the best!!!! I have collected piece to learn to paint and reuse.
Comment was on the design of the materials- my goodness I wish I was closer where it could be shipped. Love each and every design and inspirations included. You did a great job- hope those close by will never miss an opportunity to get each design.
Good luck and I will continue checking in everyday- is like my daily prayer I don’t feel good without checking what you have done.
What an amazing honor to see my little planters featured over here! Thank you so much, Kate! :)
