Hello hello, happy Sunday to you! Amanda and I rounded up some of our favorite links from this past week, enjoy!
We’re smitten with these bamboo orb pendant lights made from bamboo shades by Craftynest – an organic twist on a high end chandy.
How pretty is Holly’s painted geometric rug (featured over at Design*Sponge). This is such a great way to use paint and fabric medium to create a statement underfoot.
Here’s another fantastic IKEA hack – a Malm dresser gets a gold Greek key overlay over at Amanda Carol.
Jen at Made by Girl used floating IKEA cabinets to create this stunning look for her dining space. Those gold pulls are perfection!
This white painted kitchen floor was an affordable solution for wood flooring too far gone to refinish and contrasts beautifully with the birch topped island at Modern Jane.
Check out Judy’s simple tool for making pinch pleated drapes over at DIY by Design, loving that gorgeous fabric too!
This oak roll top desk gets a facelift over at I Heart Naptime with two tones of gray paint.
How fun are these chalkboard treat baskets? Brought to you by the always stylish oh so creative Heather Bullard!
This discussion on Pinterest and Ethics fascinated me this week. Join the conversation and share your thoughts on the subject. Via CraftyPod.
If you’d like your project or post considered for this weekend series, be sure to send it our way to [email protected]. Thanks so much Amanda for helping me round up some picks this week – stop by to say hello to Amanda at her blog Serenity Now.
The Fall Craft Link par-tay is Tuesday October 4th – here’s a handy button to add to your post!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

LOVE that rug – perfect! :-)
I loved the pink rug…I will try to paint my cheap $28 Lowe’s black rug soon :)))
I love those little treat buckets – adorable!
All of these round up are GOOD stuff.
I am certainly intrigued by the discussion.

Loving the pendant lighting at Craftynest too! That is a geat look. I also especially love the white painted kitchen flooring! Made by Girl Ikea cabinet is FAB! I saw it yesterday and was smitten! Looks very high end.
Oh I just love the inspiration here.
If you get a moment swing by and see the anthro inspired under $20 makeover I gave our dated brass entry light. It was posted last Monday.
So interesting- the Pinterest conversation. I personally like sharing ideas, but I can see where it would be frustrating for an etsy seller to have their creations copied. I think once you are ‘on the internet’- it does become a big soupy pot of inspiration. This article does make me stop and think though. From now on I am going to make an effort when pinning, to include the original source directly in the pin description. Seems like ‘friendly/crafty’ thing to do!
Really enjoyed that link to the Pinterest discussion. Thank you so much for the share. Well worth the time.

All are great, but that white painted floor got my heart. I’m going over to check out the blogs.
Wow, thanks for sharing these great ideas! I love the malm dresser with the gold greek overlay and the little baskets!
Enjoy your sunday!
