  3. I was so surprised to see my refrigerator cabinet featured here… thank you so much, Kate and Amanda! I love visiting your blog and always leave inspired. Hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day!

  4. Love this round up of projects! Especially the window bench seat, Rast makeover, and the diy chandelier. Very inspiring.

  5. What a brilliant round-up – love the brass chandelier, is gorgeous! Thanks for another great post =)

  6. Hi Kate, Sorry I have to correct you but Memorial Day is a day of rememberance for those who have died in military service, Veterans day, Nov. 11th is the day we celebrate the living who serve or have served. For more information go to Thank you.

  7. I reread your post and thought maybe by sacrifice you did mean those who died in service. Sorry if I misread that. I grew up in a military house and have tried to educate people on the difference. Thanks.

    • Yes Debbie, that’s what I meant. My grandfathers and uncles served in the wars and many family members are presently in the military. Both days are so important.
