Friday hellos to you all, I made it safely home and it’s so good to be back. I was in Charlotte with the Rust-Oleum team as they unveiled some new stain products – I’ve been working with one of their new colors on an outdoor project, I’ll share that soon! There are a few new articles over at my Better Homes & Gardens blog, hope you enjoy these.
The latest Rue mag is out and there are some really lovely features inside this issue.
Here is a funny read for all of us Downton fans: catch up with the characters sharing their episode by episode Facebook Status updates (spoiler alert! don’t read these if you’re not caught up on Season 3)

Hello Kate! Some lovely ideas for the home here! I couldn’t help but notice you mention Downton Abbey! We love the series here in the UK! Can’t wait for the fourth series to hit our screen later this year. I gather it has a big following in the US now?
Huge following Zoe, we’re all nuts for Downton here in the States!
I was so excited to see my bed (above) in a Rue article. I recently purchased it at an estate sale. I loved it so much–couldn’t afford it, didn’t have a place to put it…but I bought it anyway! I am happy to know that it is indeed French. That bed inspired me to complete a remodeling project I had planned so now it will have a home. Thank you for all your inspiration!!
