I realized I haven’t published a recipe in months and there’s really no excuse for that. I prepared a lot of favorite dishes over the summer but never got around to photographing any of them. I’ll just blame the general laziness of summer. I made homemade garlic hummus and grilled artichokes with lemon aioli and other ‘sounds kinda fancy but really so simple’ dishes and I really do have to be better about sharing.
So yesterday, I was craving one of my favorite comfort foods and I made it and I photographed it and oh my it was completely divine and satisfied my comfort food craving. My taste buds were in heaven but my waistline is a little annoyed – there is an ongoing battle between them you know.
Now that fall has arrived I’m sure you’ve got a few great comfort food recipes to share so let’s have a party, mkay? Next Tuesday, right here.
Bring your favorite comfort food recipe to the Link Party on Tuesday and then we’ll all take a nap afterward because that’s the whole point of making these recipes, right?
Can’t wait to see what you cook up!
.
Woohoo! I have an awesome one to share. :)
So glad you want to start sharing more recipes, Kate. I still love the apricot bars of yours.
Kate, the laziness of summer and you have absolutely nothing to do with one another!! You are the most productive girl I know!! I come in a distant second:)
Recipes are my best friend. I even wrote my own “cookbook”. I still don’t have a blog but someday I might and I’ll join you in these link parties. Can’t wait to see this one.
Oooh! I’m so excited! I’ve been doing a series on 31 Days of Comfort Food! I’ll definitely be linking up :)
You can check out the series so far here.
