Shutterfly GIVEAWAY

By Kate Riley May 6, 2011

Hello hello, happy Friday!  Announcing the winner of last week’s Shabby Apple Giveaway, congratulations to #306 Alicia Larson and #1,212 Rylann Johnson.  Ladies, look for an email from me!

This weekend’s giveaway comes to you from Shutterfly, a fabulous source for all of your photo needs and creations, from canvas art to personalized gifts to photo printing.

I’m particularly impressed with Shutterfly’s photo books, have you seen all the layout options available?  My very good friend takes all her pictures of her kids from their summer adventures, and has them made into a photo book every fall.  She showed me her collection the other day, and I got a little weepy.  Seriously, such a brilliant idea to have a series of ‘Summer Fun’ books from every year!

  1. I need to make a photo book for the last 6 months! Maybe I’ll make my husband an anniversary book too.

  2. Aww yeah!

I’m a digital scrapbooker, and shutterfly is by far my fave way to print my albums. I’ve got three loaded up right now, just waiting for some great sales/extra mulah laying around – so that’s for sure where I’d spend it!

  3. I have used Shutterfly in the past for a few of my son’s album. This time, I will print two wedding albums for families!

    Wonderful giveaway!

  4. A book! A book, a book, a book! I’m another digital scrapper, and Shutterfly books are my favorites!

  5. I love Shutterfly and used them all the time! I’m doing a 365 photo project and a photo book with a year’s worth of pics would be awesome.

  6. LOVE Shutterfly. I’d definitely use the money for our families yearly photo book.

  7. I would make some digital scrapbooks, I have transitioned from paper so these would be perfect to document our family’s comings and goings!

  8. I would get a photo book of my twin girls monthly growth photos made.

  9. My third little boy is going to be born in June. I’d love to get a canvas of the three of them or a photo book of them! How nice would that be!!

  10. I am turning 40 this year and my hubbs is throwing me a partay!! I will use the $$ for the party invitations!! : )

  11. I would either make some photo books of my daughter’s first 7 months of her life, or maybe print some of the billions of pictures that I have taken of her since she was born. Either that, or a really cool print for my wall… who knows? Too many possibilities!

  12. I would love to win this. I take tons of pics of my son who is three, but I have never made him a baby album. That’s what i would do.

  13. My baby just turned one so I would use it for a photobook….a big one, haha.

  14. I absolutely LOVE Shutterfly’s photo books. I’ve made 2 before (one for our family & one for my dad). My dad was so, so proud of his gift. It made his decade, I think! I would love to have another one to share our memories again:)

  41. i have been wanting to do a photo book for over a year – i have the pictures chosen and everything!

  42. We have many grandparents, none of which are local. I would love to be able to give them all birth books of our first child, who was born this past fall, that some of them haven’t even met yet. That way, they could feel like they were there, even though they were so far away from the event.

  240. Got to tell you – loved this post! “Beets” as you call them are referred to as Beetroot here in the land of Oz. We eat these on Sandwiches, Salad and particularly Hamburgers! There is a saying in Australia that “it’s not an Aussie Hamburger without Beetroot”. We have travelled to the States allot over the years and it never ceases to amaze me when I ask for beetroot on my burger – oh the looks we get!

A typical “Aussie” burger is made of:

    Onions – Fried
    Carrot – grated
    Beetroot !!!!
Tomato or BBQ Sauce (better with BBQ)

Give it a shot – it’s the best!

P.S Huge fan … read your blog everyday all the way over here in oz!

  241. Definitely a photobook…not sure what the collection would entail yet…but I have pictures waiting. Maybe of our dog and various outdoor adventures ???
